Valuparambil

Eapen, the second son of Naithalloormannil Chandy settled down at Valuparambil soon after his marriage. While two of their children passed away at their early age, with the surviving two sons and two daughters, Eapen and wife led a happy family life. The sons were Vidwan V E Chandy and Vidwan V E Thomas.

Eapen was bestowed with our traditions of humility and simplicity and was specially gifted with the talent of music and literature.

വാലുപറമ്പിൽ

നൈതല്ലൂർമണ്ണിൽ ചാണ്ടിയുടെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ മകൻ ഈപ്പൻ തന്റെ വിവാഹം കഴിഞ്ഞയുടൻ ഭാര്യയോടൊപ്പം വാലുപറമ്പിൽ താമസമാക്കി. അവരുടെ രണ്ട് മക്കൾ ചെറുപ്രായത്തിൽ തന്നെ മരിച്ചു. അവശേഷിക്കുന്ന രണ്ട് ആൺമക്കളും രണ്ട് പെൺമക്കളുമായി, സന്തോഷകരമായ കുടുംബജീവിതം നയിച്ചു. ആൺമക്കൾ വിദ്വാൻ വി ഇ ചാണ്ടിയും വിദ്വാൻ വി ഇ തോമസും.

ഈപ്പന് എളിമയുടെയും ലാളിത്യത്തിന്റെയും കുടുംബ പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ചു എന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല സംഗീതത്തിന്റെയും സാഹിത്യത്തിന്റെയും പ്രത്യേക നൈപുണ്ണ്യവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
